-In the first chapter, Enzo says: "It's what's inside that's important. The soul. And my soul is very human." How does Enzo's situation—a human soul trapped in a dog's body—influence his opinions about what he sees around him? How do you feel about the ideas of reincarnation and karma as Enzo defines them?

So far this has been easy reading. I'm very intrigued by the way the author portays everyday life through the eyes of Enzo. I don't have pets but reading this book has given me an itch to adopt a dog (LOL). Now when I see a doggie do something such as lick your hand or nuzzle with his nose I wonder what he's really thinking and feeling.
During the zebra moment I felt that even though Enzo considers himself more of having a "human soul" he still has instincts of a dog and the way I dog would react staying alone,hungry and possibly bored.
The part that made me laugh out loud was when Enzo wondered if the baby would look like him. At this moment I realized how he was truly part of this family and he felt the connection and love.
